    Reminiscent of a previous life

    Green light filtered onto sweeping verandas. strong scent of flowers - sweet and heady. Dreamy doe eyes and bowed red lips of ladies fanning in the steamy heat. Gentlemen in light coloured suits, sipping iced tea surrounded by lush and well manicured gardens. Dancing, laughter and mystery of the Orient. This is Florence Broadhurst's Oriental Blossom, 1926.
