Feminine, floral, fresh.

This diffuser has made its home in my bathroom for the past week and, without fail, every time I've walked in there I've caught myself thinking "what's that gorgeous smell?" before remembering that I'd placed it next to the windowsill. In my mind, home fragrances fall into a couple of basic categories: the "clean/fresh" fragrances that are barely there, and the more heavily perfumed fragrances. 1942 Velvet Petals definitely falls into the latter. It's still fresh, but it's quite heavily scented and it reminds me of a traditional perfume. It's quite a punchy white floral fragrance and, to me, there is even a slight hint of oriental as well. It's perfect in a bigger area because it really does have such excellent sillage. My bathroom is quite big and open-plan, but the fragrance is so strong that it might even be too much for smaller rooms. That said, it's a feminine fragrance so I think it would be suitable for the boudoir or formal living area. I'd happily have 1942 Velvet Petals again, but I think it might be even more suitable for my Mum. The bottle is seriously cute and gives a chic retro vibe without taking itself too seriously. I will definitely keep it to re-use it as a stem vase when the fragranced oil runs out! I don't think there'd be anyone who would dislike this, but it's perfect for someone who loves white florals.

Great product and lasts ages

Fantastic scent that lasts all day. Liquid last extremely long as I have used different brands that have evaporated very quickly. Cute design that doesnt look tacky or cheap. Love love love the products.
